At the heart of our company, we
are a Meeting/Convention GTMS, or Ground Transportation Management
Service.
We take your needs, find the
appropriate service providers to fill those needs, manage them to work
together to deliver great service, and then present you with one organized
invoice at the end of your event.
While the past is no guarantee
of the future, according to Dr Phil, the best predictor of future behavior
is past behavior. As such, please take a quick look at our Past Projects
page. There you will see a rich history of past behavior of highly
successful ground transportation management. Programs which include 5 of
the last 6 Olympics, several Corporate Worldwide Conventions with up to
18,000 attendees with 200 motorcoaches, a 24

We listen to your needs. We do not assume what you need or want. We develop
a plan based upon those needs, our expertise and our experience. We bid
honestly, quoting the number of pieces of equipment we feel would work best
for your group. We don’t underbid and then come back to you and say
‘whoops’. We procure the appropriate service providers whose
history displays that they can deliver their portion of the plan. We
communicate our plan to our service providers in a concise and direct
format which minimizes communication errors. We operate that plan,
being ever vigilant for need of correction or adjustment on the fly. And
last, we wrap up the billing to your satisfaction.

local event planning company who had planned 2 nights for a new client.

The Convention Components Shuttle
Management System
The Convention Components Shuttle Management System sets
us apart from the rest. Our Shuttle Management System is the 21st
century way to manage shuttles. While many still choose to manage their
shuttles utilizing staff with pencils, radios, stopwatches and relying
totally on verbal communication, we utilize a GPS system that enables our
management team to manage our vehicles via the internet. This gives our
management team minute by minute status of every vehicle on a centrally
located laptop. That allows our operations leaders to manage the shuttle
instead of it being in the hands of our curb staff.
Our system was not developed to catch the drivers making
mistakes; it was developed to help us manage the shuttle system to ensure
we are achieving our goals. We no longer need to look at the scribbling of
a harried staff person at the end of the day to find out if we have achieved
our service frequencies, we now can request a report that will immediately
tell us what our frequencies are while the shuttle is operating. There are
no longer times and bus numbers missing because the staff got too busy, the
electronic GPS system records all the moves. We can present a report within
minutes of the shuttle close each evening detailing our frequencies, not
having to wait for a staff person to enter the data into a spreadsheet. It
enables us to manage our shuttle while it is running instead of reacting to
it long after it has stopped.

We’re seeing residual benefits from the Convention
Components Shuttle Management System. We make better use of our staff. They
don’t have to spend all their time recording bus numbers and times;
they can concentrate on servicing your attendees. We don’t need as
many staff because no one has to record bus numbers and times. It’s
done electronically. Our frequencies and turnaround times are becoming
tighter. We are able to manage them so much better.
